1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RightToHuman platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RightToHuman provides compliance workflow tools for state-level Automated Decision-Making Technology (ADMT) regulations, including those in California, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, and New York City. The Service includes AI system inventory management, notice generation, consumer opt-out handling, risk assessments, decision logic documentation, and audit trail management.

3. Not Legal Advice

RightToHuman provides compliance workflow tools, not legal advice. The templates, documents, and assessments generated by the platform are designed to assist with compliance documentation but do not constitute legal counsel. You should consult with a qualified attorney to ensure full compliance with applicable regulations.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

5. Subscription and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the platform, including AI system information, compliance documents, and consumer opt-out data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You may export or delete your data at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Submit false or misleading compliance information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RightToHuman shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
